Log

The Log lists what arrived in Corte and what Corte did with it, newest first, in a group for each day. A group is headed Today or by its date, such as “Oct 1”. To open it, tap Settings, then Log, or open it from About.

What you see

Each entry starts with its time, then a sentence about one file, with how it arrived under it: Uploaded, Forwarded or Mailbox.

• Received october.pdf. The file arrived and is waiting to be read.
• Read october.pdf and saved its statement. The statement is on its card.
• Read october.pdf. That statement was already saved. Nothing changed, because the card already had it.
• Read october.pdf. It needs a look in Review. Corte couldn’t save it on its own. The sentence after it says why, and Review is where you finish it.
• Couldn’t open october.pdf. The file isn’t a readable statement. The sentence after it says why.
• Read confirmation.eml and saved its payment. A transfer confirmation you forwarded: its payment is on its card. Choose the card its payment was for in Review means Corte couldn’t tell which card, and That payment was already saved that it read the same email before.

Your notifications appear here too, under Notification:

• Sent “Before each due date” by push. It went out.
• Didn’t send “Before each due date” by email. It was skipped, and the sentence after it says why, such as “The push arrived, so no email was needed.” or “Corte was down at that time.”
• Couldn’t send “Before each due date” by push. It failed, for example “No phone took the push.”
• Will send “Before each due date” by push again tomorrow. You tapped Remind me tomorrow.

Two notes can follow an entry. The layout changed, so Corte read it again means the bank changed how its statement looks. Read with AI means an AI provider read the statement, which you allowed in AI parsing.

The days and times follow your time zone. If you delete a document, its entries stay, and the name becomes “a document”.

The Log shows kinds of events and never the contents of a file.

The Log loads the newest entries first. Tap Show earlier at the bottom to load more. Pull down to refresh.

Questions

Why is the Log empty? Nothing has arrived yet. Upload a statement or forward one, and it appears here.

Can I clear the Log? Not on its own. Delete all data and deleting your account remove it with everything else.
