Forgot password
If you don’t remember your password, you can set a new one with a code that Corte sends to your email.
This is for accounts with an email and password. If you sign in with Apple or Google, keep using Continue with Apple or Continue with Google.
Set a new password
Section titled “Set a new password”- On the Sign in screen, tap Forgot password?.
- The Forgot password screen reads “Enter your email. Corte sends a code to set a new password.” In Email, type the address you signed up with.
- Tap Send code.
- The message “If an account exists for this address, we sent a code.” appears, and the screen reads “Enter the code from the email and a new password.” The email field can no longer be edited.
- Open the email with the subject “Your Corte password reset code” and copy the 6-digit code.
- In Code, type the code.
- In New password, type a new password of at least 10 characters. Tap Show to see what you typed.
- Tap Set new password.
The Sign in screen opens with the message “Password changed. Sign in with the new password.” Sign in with your email and the new password.
Setting a new password also ends your Corte sessions on your other devices. On those, sign in again with the new password.
The reset code
Section titled “The reset code”- The code has 6 digits.
- It expires 15 minutes after it was sent, and works only once.
- After 3 wrong attempts the code stops working, and you need a new one.
- A new code replaces the old one. Use the code from the most recent email.
To get a new code, use the link under the Set new password button. It counts down from the moment a code is sent, for example Send a new code (in 0:45). When the countdown ends it reads Send a new code.
- Wait until the link reads Send a new code.
- Tap it. The message “If an account exists for this address, we sent a code.” appears again, and the countdown starts again.
- Use the code from the new email.
