Statements
The list
Section titled “The list”From a card, tap Statements. Under the title is the card, for example “Atlas Gold ··· 4821”. The list shows each statement’s cutoff date, its due date and its balance, newest first. A Review tag beside the balance means its figures were read by AI and aren’t confirmed, and the row also says when it was read (“Due Oct 20 · read Sep 27”). Tap a statement to open it.
Under the list, “Missing one? Statements arrive by forwarding or an upload.” and an Upload statement button. Statements arrive by forwarding, or when you upload one.
If there are none, it says “No statements yet.” and offers Upload statement.
One statement
Section titled “One statement”- The title is “Statement, Sep 26”, and under it “Cutoff Sep 26 · Due Oct 20”.
- “Read from the statement on Sep 27 · High confidence” says when Corte read it and how sure it is: High for statements read by a bank’s reader or a layout Corte already knew, Medium for ones read by AI.
- Figures lists previous balance, payments, purchases, interest, fees, the statement balance, the minimum payment and the credit available, one per line. A figure the statement doesn’t print isn’t shown. The statement balance is under a heavy line.
- If the figures were read by AI and you haven’t confirmed them, the figures sit in a dashed box with a Review tag beside Figures. If the lines don’t add up to the balance, it says by how much: “These lines add up to $410.00, $2.00 less than the statement balance. Check the figures against the original.” Otherwise it says “Read by AI. Confirm the figures.”
- Check figures opens the statement in Review, where you confirm or correct the figures. It’s there only while the statement needs a look.
- Open original opens the PDF or email the statement was read from, when Corte still keeps it. If it can’t, it says “Couldn’t open the original. Try again.”
- A figure you corrected shows Edited and what it was read as.
- Earlier statements lists the card’s other statements.
The payments on a statement are the ones the bank printed. The payments you log yourself are separate: see Log a payment and Payments.
