Sign-in methods

Sign-in methods lists the ways you can sign in: your email and password, Apple, or Google. To open it, tap Settings, then Account, then Sign-in methods.

Next to each method, tap Remove (for example Remove Google). It is removed at once, and you can no longer sign in with it. You can’t remove your only method: the screen says “This is your only way to sign in, so it can’t be removed.”

If your device and your Corte server offer it, tap Add Apple or Add Google and choose an account that uses the same email as yours. With a different email Corte says “Couldn’t add it. Use an account with the same email as yours.”

If you sign in with an email and password, tap Change password.

  1. Enter your Current password.
  2. Enter a New password of at least 10 characters.
  3. Tap Change password. Corte shows “Password changed. Your other devices were signed out.” You stay signed in on this device.

A wrong current password shows “That password isn’t right.” under the field.

If you forgot your password, sign out and use Forgot password? on the Sign in screen: see Forgot password.

Why can’t I remove my password? You can, as long as Apple or Google remains. Corte keeps at least one way for you to sign in.
