Delete your account

Delete account removes your account and everything in it, right away. There’s no waiting period and no undo.

The screen lists what it removes, now:

  • Your cards, statements and transactions
  • Payments, plans and paydays
  • Mailboxes and uploaded files
  • Notifications and signed-in devices
  • Your account and sign-in

This can’t be undone.

  1. Tap Settings, then Account, then Delete account.
  2. Read the list. If you want a copy of your data first, tap Export my data first (see Export my data). Then tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm it’s you:
    • If you sign in with an email and password, enter it under Password for your email and tap Confirm.
    • If you sign in with Apple or Google and signed in more than a few minutes ago, Corte asks you to sign in again: “To delete your account, sign in again.” Tap Continue with Apple or Continue with Google, and choose the same account. Corte checks it against your account and doesn’t sign you in again or create anything. If you signed in recently, Corte doesn’t ask.
  4. Corte shows “Deleting your account” with what it is removing: Statements and transactions, Cards, plans and settings and Sign-ins on your devices. It takes a few seconds. Then Corte returns to the Welcome screen, which reads “Account deleted.”

Corte also sends you an email to confirm it.

Your other devices are signed out. The next time they reach Corte, they clear what they had loaded and show “Account deleted.”
