Sign in
Sign in with the email and password you signed up with, or with Apple or Google. Corte keeps you signed in on the device until you sign out or your session ends.
Sign in with email and password
Section titled “Sign in with email and password”- Open Corte. On the Welcome screen, next to “Already have an account?”, tap Sign in.
- In Email, type your email address.
- In Password, type your password. Tap Show to see what you typed, and Hide to hide it again.
- Tap Sign in.
Corte opens your Cards list.
If you signed up with email but never entered the verification code, Corte emails you a new code and opens the Check your email screen instead. Enter the code to finish. See The verification code.
Sign in with Apple or Google
Section titled “Sign in with Apple or Google”The Sign in screen shows Continue with Apple and Continue with Google at the top when they’re available, with “or with email” between them and the email field:
- Continue with Apple appears on iPhone and iPad only.
- Continue with Google appears on iPhone, iPad and Android.
- If you don’t see a button, that way of signing in isn’t available, and you can sign in with email and password.
- Tap Continue with Apple or Continue with Google.
- Follow the Apple or Google screen that opens and choose your account.
Corte opens your Cards list. If you close the Apple or Google screen without choosing an account, you stay on the Sign in screen.
If the email or password is wrong
Section titled “If the email or password is wrong”Corte shows “That email and password don’t match.” It doesn’t say which one is wrong, and it shows the same message whether or not an account exists for that address.
- Check the email address for typos.
- Tap Show and check the password.
- If you don’t remember the password, tap Forgot password? and follow Forgot password.
After 5 failed attempts in 15 minutes, Corte shows “Too many attempts. Try again in 15 minutes.” The number is how long to wait, and can be shorter. Wait, then try again, or set a new password with Forgot password?.
Messages after Corte signs you out
Section titled “Messages after Corte signs you out”Sometimes Corte signs you out on its own and shows a message at the top of the Welcome or Sign in screen:

Do I need to sign in every time I open the app?
Section titled “Do I need to sign in every time I open the app?”No. Corte keeps you signed in on the device until you tap Sign out in Settings, Account, or until your session ends.
I signed up with Apple or Google. Do I have a password?
Section titled “I signed up with Apple or Google. Do I have a password?”No. Use the same Continue with Apple or Continue with Google button each time.
