AI assistants

AI assistants lets an assistant such as Claude read your Corte data. You give each assistant its own token, a long secret it sends to Corte, and you can revoke it whenever you want. To open it, tap Settings, then Account, then AI assistants.

What an assistant can do

  • Read only: it can read your cards, statements, transactions, installment plans, categories, payoff plans, paydays and what to pay on Today.
  • Read and log payments: the same, and it can also record that you paid a card.

An assistant can’t change or delete anything else. It never sees your documents, your settings or your account, and it can’t create tokens.

Create a token

  1. Tap Settings, Account, then AI assistants.
  2. Under Create a token, type a Name you will recognize, such as “Desktop assistant”.
  3. Under Access, choose Read only or Read and log payments.
  4. Tap Create token. At the top of the screen, in a dashed box marked Copy now, Corte shows New token, shown once and the token.
  5. Tap Copy, then paste it into the assistant’s settings. Corte shows “Token copied”.

The token is shown only once. “After you leave this screen, only its name is kept.” If you lose it, revoke it and make a new one.

You can have up to 10 tokens. At the limit, Corte says “You have the most tokens allowed. Revoke one to add another.”

Under Tokens, each token shows its name, what it can do, when it was created, and when it was last used, or “never used”. The last use is about when: it isn’t updated on every request.

To disconnect an assistant, tap Revoke on its row. It stops working at once and leaves the list. Revoking can’t be undone.

Is my password shared with the assistant? No. The token is separate from your password, and changing your password doesn’t affect it.

What if a token leaks? Revoke it. If you can’t tell which one, revoke them all and connect the assistants again.

Does deleting my data remove the tokens? Delete all data keeps your tokens, because it keeps your account, but there is nothing left to read. Deleting your account removes them.
